Pavement mobility scooters (Class 2 Mobility Scooters) are ideal for short trips, they have a maximum speed of 4mph. Pavement mobility scooters would get you from A to B quickly and comfortably. They feature a padded main seat, flip up arm rests, and a swivel design to allow easier transfer from the scooter.
Pavement scooters should not be used on road, however some models come with suspension systems to lessen the impact of the force from travelling on more uneven paths. The extra features available on pavement scooters does not make them any harder to use then portable mobility scooters.
Pavement scooters have a lower speed compared to road mobility scooters. Their smaller design allows them to have exceptionally good manoeuvrability especially in supermarkets or on the high street. They feature a larger battery, allowing them to travel longer distances compared to other models of travel mobility scooter.
